About the Role

The Software Engineer will join EG’s Core Technology team as a key player in building and scaling the company’s central infrastructure, participating in greenfield projects as well as enhancing existing systems. As part of a small, focused team, the Software Engineer will report directly to the Co-CTOs and will collaborate closely with team members and end users, having immediate firmwide impact and gaining exposure to all areas of the firm such as data, research, operations, and risk.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop efficient, scalable data and research infrastructure.
- Implement robust workflows for processing structured and unstructured financial datasets.
- Contribute to internal microservice-based infrastructure platform.
- Develop web-based tools for internal teams and users.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Undergraduate degree in CS, EE, or related field.
- Two years professional experience in software engineering.
- Programming experience in Python (relational databases and SQL a plus).
The salary for this role is anticipated to be between $110k and $175k. This range does not include any potential bonus amounts, other forms of compensation, or benefits offered. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s skills, qualifications, education and experience.
