The Role

Trillium Labs is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to support our team in creating high-performance solutions for complex financial trading and data analysis applications. Reporting to the Lead Software Architect, this intern will gain hands-on experience with software design and development in a fast- paced, fintech environment. Ideal candidates have a passion for coding, problem-solving, and learning new programming concepts.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the software engineering team on the development and maintenance of trading systems and applications.
Assist in designing, coding, and debugging applications using best practices in software development.
Support the integration and testing of software solutions across multiple systems.
Conduct research on relevant technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of code quality.
Document work processes and code modifications

Requirements

Preference: Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Mathematics, or a related field.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and C#.
Familiarity with software development methodologies, tools, and version control systems.
Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Location : This is an in-person role based in NYC.
