** Position Title** : Software Engineer

** Job Description** :

Perform technical design, implementation, deployment, and support of the InvesTech Group’s Mosaic Platform and Sector modelling workflows. Contribute to Mosaic Core platform by enabling Tile development, Context passing, and integration across the Mosaic eco system. Help create new tiles using OpenFin technology, Mosaic Python Dashboards framework, and deploying them into Mosaic. Contribute to the design for handling large disparate data sets and historical time series data sets into Mosaic for the Sector modelling workflows. Help with integration of proprietary models into Mosaic. Facilitate discussions across stakeholders for various enhancements and releases. Onboard data from data producers and provide a unified way to access firm’s data for dashboards. Partner with Tech Leads and other Scrum Team

members to ensure the team is delivering highest-quality code using Mosaic technologies and evaluate new technologies when appropriate. Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Tech Leads, and other Scrum Team members to continuously deliver working software in accordance with the team’s best practices, as prioritized and scoped during Agile ceremonies. Position is fixed location based in Boston office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.

** Job Requirements** :

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a directly related field plus two (2) years of experience developing application software.

Must have two (2) years of experience in each of the following: (experience may be gained concurrently):

- Systems development using Java, JavaScript, and HTML

- Working with Relational Database systems using SQL

- Deploying monitoring, and troubleshooting applications in Amazon Web Services

Must have one (1) year of experience in each of the following: (experience may be gained concurrently):

- Creating Multi-threaded applications in Java

- Using Python for Data analysis and working with large datasets

- User Interface development using React, Node.js, and Python and frameworks

- Data event streaming technologies including Apache Kafka

- Performing analysis, design, and modeling, including data visualization

- Utilizing Software development and testing methodologies and their effective application

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, $91,000-115,000/year.
