The base salary range for this role is $121,600 per year - $182,400 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program and an equity award. Overview

As a SR. DATA GOVERNANCE ANALYST at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), within the Data organization, specifically Data Governance team. This person will be working alongside with the manager in defining the company wide Data Governance Program. This will involve working with multiple cross-functional stakeholders in legal, info sec, engineering and data teams to understand the product functionality, each domains needs and translate them into technical requirements and supports implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, Product, IT security, IT risk and controls and Marketing to identify, find solutions and educate on data governance and data privacy needs.

  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver on data governance goals.

  • Evangelize privacy requirements, standards, best practices and tools across horizontal teams

  • Help run, enhance, and monitor the effectiveness of key privacy compliance processes and programs

  • Facilitate Privacy by Design by working with key business stakeholders to complete Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and performing the initial review of completed PIAs and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new processing activities, IT changes, projects, and data ingests

  • Participate in the privacy component of betFanatics third-party risk management program, including sending out questionnaires, reviewing answers for privacy implications, and coordinating with Security, Legal Compliance and Procurement

  • Help manage privacy and data protection trainings.

  • Monitor the privacy email alias and serve as the initial point of contact for customer, prospect, and internal privacy inquiries.

  • Must be open to occasional travel to Fanatics Betting & Gaming offices and other locations for conferences, events, meetings, and team building activities

Qualifications

  • Experience in Privacy Program frameworks (from planning to execution) (GDPR, CCPA, SOX etc)
  • Demonstrated technical skills in technologies powering privacy and data storage.
  • Ability to tailor communication to your audience- serving as a bridge between non technical and technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient with SQL.
  • Experience with consumer data.
  • Technological fluency.
  • The ability to prioritize and balance competing objectives while providing high-quality work product in a timely manner to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; and be able to provide practical, actionable and risk-based advice.
  • The ability to working independently, while also being a team player; and a strong sense of integrity.
