Description of Duties:

Two Statistical Scientists sought by RBUS, Inc., a Red Ventures Company, for its office in Ft. Mill, South Carolina to develop and apply mathematical and statistical theories and methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize data to provide usable information. Job duties include preparing and structuring data warehouses for storing data; developing programming for statistical modeling and graphic analysis, using R to build models, classify data, & report automation, and using SQL & Oracle to manipulate data.

Rate of Pay: $120,000.00 to $140,000.00/year

Minimum Job Requirements:

Master of Science degree in Analytics or directly related Statistics field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation such as Statistical Analyst or Statistical & Planning Consultant is required and must include: 1 year of experience using R to build and automate the updating of stochastic gradient boosting models to predict actions; 1 year of experience using R to build NLP sentiment analysis models to classify data; 1 year of experience using SQL & Oracle to do database refactoring, data extraction and reporting for exploratory analysis of data; and 1 year of experience using R to compile several disparate data sources including Excel, MySQL, & CSV files into a single structured dataset to build automated reports.
