We are currently seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our Trade Capture team in New York. Through the course of this internship, candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, gaining exposure in the field of Trading Technology.
In this role, candidate will collaborate with a team of highly experienced engineers to capture millions of execution events a day through a highly available and global pipeline system.
Our Trade Capture team is responsible for the ingestion, transformation, and routing of the firm’s trading activity from a number of internal and external execution sources:
- Trading systems connectivity and normalization of trading-related messages
- Enrichment of trading data and calculation of trading fees / expenses
- Aggregation and transformation of trades to support interfaces to downstream systems
This position is ideal for a candidate who is eager to learn and grow in the field of Trading Technology. We value dedication to quality code, as well as knowledge of Core Java or Kafka and a willingness to tackle complex challenges in a fast-paced and ever-evolving industry.
Qualifications:
- Currently working towards a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency with best practices in Java
- Experience in real-time messaging and SQL
- Interest in the Financial Industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly demanding environment
