We’re looking for someone who excels at problem-solving and thrives under pressure in a high-stakes, rapidly changing setting. Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential, as you’ll be working closely with both technical and trading teams to resolve critical issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues methodically, clearly communicating trade-offs and escalation decisions based on incident priority.
  • Monitor real-time systems for anomalies, responding or escalating as needed.
  • Build and apply proficiency in Linux, Python, and Bash to automate workflows, streamline manual processes, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Contributes to process improvements and knowledge-sharing materials such as runbooks, FAQs, and retrospectives.
  • Take ownership of tasks, reflect on feedback and lessons learned from incidents, and use these insights to support personal and team growth.

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of Linux systems; able to perform troubleshooting and operational tasks via CLI.
  • Introductory scripting experience (Python/Bash); comfortable using and modifying existing automation tools.
  • Proficiency in database querying using SQL or Snowflake
  • Demonstrated ability to find technical solutions to open-ended or ambiguous problems with appropriate guidance.
  • Proactive in recognizing operational issues and recommending remediation.
  • Maintains a high level of attention to detail in both troubleshooting and documentation.
  • Demonstrates continuous improvement and responsible ownership of personal development.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $150-200k, plus a discretionary bonus.
  • The discretionary bonus will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and firm performance.
