Job Description

Position Summary

Establish local support desk for trading in EMEA and global securities via proprietary platform for international clients in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st level, comprehensive support to trading application users

  • Handle support requests via phone, email and direct messaging, with an emphasis on timely response.

  • Create, modify, and maintain user logins and account configurations within WEX systems.

  • Act as primary in-office resource for platform support during European market hours and oversee a daily handoff to US-based support staff.

  • Work with vendors (Exchanges, ECNs, etc.) to resolve production issues

  • Occasionally work with developers to improve software and troubleshoot problems

  • Maintain documentation of support processes, ongoing technical issues, and workarounds

  • Work on special projects as necessary

Qualifications

  • Must have proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

  • Must have excellent customer support and communication skills

  • Must have an understanding of trading industry concepts and terminology.

  • Prior experience (2+ years preferred) supporting trading in EMEA marketplaces and listed securities.

  • Troubleshooting experience in financial trading applications, similar to Reuters, TT, PATS, Bloomberg, and GL Trade.

  • Need to be very comfortable working separate from the main office with minimal guidance.

  • Self-motivated, decisive, energetic and results-orientated
