Job Description

**Scope of the role **

An exciting opportunity to spend a summer on our funding desk in London as a trading intern, with the possibility of a full time role for an exceptional candidate on completion of your 10 weeks.

Our funding desk is responsible for a variety of strategies and business lines, each related to trading interest rates. The desk generates P&L by market making interest rates across a variety of different crypto assets, whilst managing the firm’s and client’s balance sheet requirements. Our funding desk is one of the fastest growing areas of the business and this is a rare chance to work on one of the leading funding desks in crypto.

Jobs will include funding P&L allocation which requires learning many aspects of our funding business. You will learn about pricing funding trades and better understand the value of existing and prospective clients.

We are looking for

Technical final year students studying Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or a STEM subject who are on track for a first class degree.

Students undertaking a postgraduate course (MSc) are also welcome to apply.

  • Must be a final year university student
  • Moderate Python knowledge is required (pandas, writing 250+ line scripts from scratch)
  • A passion for problem solving and finance
  • Work experience that demonstrates a passion for finance or trading is a bonus. This could be formal work experience or personal projects
  • Interest in crypto markets (Ce-Fi, De-Fi) would be a bonus. If you have experience trading crypto let us know
  • Experience interacting with crypto data products (Etherscan, Arkham, Glassnode) would be a bonus

If you have some but not all of the above don’t worry. In general we’d prefer engagement, eagerness to learn, and cooperation to technical brilliance. We plan on teaching the latter anyway.
